The Trinity women's volleyball team competed in the Webber International tri-match today, going 2-0 on the day.
In the first match against Florida Memorial, the Trolls were able to sweep the Lions 3-0. For Trinity, three players were in the double digits for kills. Sophomore Sarah Kiwan finished with a double-double, getting 10 kills and 13 digs. Senior Ana Lambros also grabbed 10 kills with seven digs while junior Britta Heggeland had 12 kills with zero errors while also registering three blocks.
The final match of the day was against host Webber International, who Trinity also swept 3-0. Kiwan was the only Troll with double digit kills, securing 15 along with eight digs and five blocks. Senior Dani Van Laten was able to grab 33 assists on the night while junior Brianna Figueroa had 13 digs.
The Trolls will be back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 29, in DeVos Gymnasium as they get back to CCAC play against Trinity International beginning at 7 p.m.
